ESPINA by StinkFish* @ HighRollerSociety
We are proud to share the news about the first solo show in London by Stinkfish.
“Thorns are sharp formations developed by some plants as a defense mechanism. Stinkfish does portraits of anonymous characters that he finds in the street, waiting on a corner, riding the subway, walking aimlessly, with faces full of thorns. Thorns traveling from one city to another, from one country to another. Sometimes they are black spines, sometimes red, other multicolored.
Using materials salvaged from the street, discarded photographs, magazines and old album covers Stinkfish presents “Espina “, part of the inventory of his street portraits, a page of this family album of anonymous characters.” READ MORE
